Tip #18: Pre-screen before showing your property. Once your property has been listed, you'll start to receive tons of calls from potential tenants. Before you schedule a time to show your property, ask your inquirer questions to determine if they even qualify. Ask them: why are you moving, what is your credit score, does your current landlord know you are moving, do you have pets and what breed, do you have credit issues, how many people will be living in the home, how many cars, where do you work and how long have you been employed?
