Marietta Square just had their first Octoberfest this weekend (October 9 &10, 2021). They closed the Square to traffic and set up food vendor trailers, tents with crafts, beer, and lots of live music. We got there on Sunday afternoon and had a hard time parking. The park was jammed with people: couples, families, and pets. There were food vendors with everything from cotton candy to beer. There were tents with craftsmen that made lots of unusual things like jewelry, tables, clothing, artwork, and knick-knacks. The most amazing things were the artists that did the street chalk drawings. There are some very talented people. In the park, is a stage where several musicians played while people hung around eating and enjoying the tunes. It was a food time for all!
If you are looking to invest in rental property, Marietta is a great place. It is affordable and is a very attractive and appealing to renters.
